Hindu Finger Puppets

hindu_finger_puppets.jpgYou don't have to be Hindu--and neither does your kid--to appreciate these finger puppet representations of the Hindu gods Brahma, Ganesha, Garuda and Kali. My brother-in-law gave these to us for Christmas (pre-kid. he's an artist.), and I think they'll come in...handy.

Teach your kids the basics of Hindu theology, celebrate the big Ganesha festival in September, or make up your own story with them. The worst that could happen is you inadvertently commit some kind of blasphemy and get reincarnated as a gecko.

Hindu Finger Puppets are $4.95 for a set of 8 (2 of each?) from ye random webmerchant like McPhee's.
